Fit for Life provides the means to educate, motivate, and inspire you to make positive lifestyle change to improve your overall health.  Average participants lose weight and experience positive changes in health status such as lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Led by Dr. Tim McKnight, Board Certified Family Physician, Fit for Life community classes take place once weekly for 12 weeks. The curriculum emphasizes realistic lifestyle changes, resulting in enhanced levels of health and fitness. Some of the class topics include stress management, the wellness choice, nutrition for life, eat to live, food labels, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility fitness, strength fitness, disease prevention, healthy aging and more!

Don't wait. The fall session started on Tuesday, September 5th at the hospital location at Dennison and on Wednesday, September 6th at the New Philadelphia First United Methodist Church Hall, but class members can still join during the week of September 11th.  Classes meet once a week for 12 weeks from 5:30 pm to about 7 pm. For more information or to register for the fall session, please call (740) 922-7450, ext. 2181.
