Dennison Railroad Depot MuseumSituated in the rolling hills of Tuscarawas County in East Central Ohio, the Twin City Community provides the perfect setting for family living without the traffic, pollution, crime, and hectic pace of city living. The Twin City area (including the towns of Dennison, Uhrichsville, and surrounding villages) is made up of friendly people and hometown businesses that work to support each other. Trinity Hospital Twin City is located in Dennison. Pictured to the left is the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum and Restaurant. The Depot is a fine example of the area's rich "railroading" history.

Just 8 miles to the north of the Twin City area is New Towne Mall. The mall is an enclosed shopping center with four anchor department stores (JCPenney, Kohls, Sears, and Elder-Beerman), 72 shops, boutiques, dining places, and a multiplex cinema. The mall is surrounded by other popular stores and eateries such as Lowe's, Staples, Applebee's, Red Lobster, and Bob Evans.

Educational opportunities abound in Tuscarawas County. We have 7 school districts with about 14,000 students enrolled in 27 elementary schools, 8 middle schools, and 8 high schools. The Kent State University Tuscarawas Campus is only a 10 minute drive from the Twin City Area, and the Buckeye Career Center provides for adult and student education in all of the major vocations including L.P.N. training.

Fishing and boating enthusiasts have access to one of the more extensive lake systems in the nation, the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District. The District provides fishing and recreational lakes such as Tappan, Atwood, Piedmont, Leesville, and Clendenning Lakes all within a 5 to 15 minute drive from the Twin City area. And for the hunter, there are 38,000 acres of land surrounding the lakes which offer choice hunting opportunities. If it's golfing which interests you, you will have a choice of nine well-maintained courses within a few minutes driving distance.

First Presbyterian Church at DennisonTuscarawas County also offers several opportunities for religious development. All major denominations are represented in the county, and all churches are active supporters of community members and community events. Pictured to the right is the First Presbyterian Church of Dennison, also known as the "Railway Chapel." Built in the early days of the railroad, the pews in the church are fashioned after the seats used on trains so that the seats can be changed to face forward toward the pulpit or face backward toward the recreational area of the church.

The 15,000 residents of the Twin City area and the over 91,000 residents of Tuscarawas County live in the center of a dynamic and diversified marketplace. Just 80 miles to the north lies Cleveland, Ohio; Only 35 miles to the north lies Canton, Ohio; Columbus, Ohio is just 97 miles to the southwest; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is only 90 miles to the east.
