Thursday, June 27th

DENNISON—With so many different vitamins and supplements available for sale, it’s easy to become confused about what vitamins and supplements are actually needed and how much should be taken. To clear up the confusion, Trinity Hospital Twin City will host “Choosing Quality Vitamins & Supplements 101,” a free mini seminar on Thursday, June 27th from 6 to 7 pm at the hospital’s first floor St. Francis Conference Room.

The public is encouraged to attend the free mini seminar which will be followed by a question and answer session for those who wish to stay. Featured speaker will be Dr. Tim McKnight, Board Certified Family Physician and Fit for Life Director. Those who attend will receive healthy snacks, the chance to win door prizes and educational information.

Dr. McKnight will explain how to choose and benefit from taking vitamins and supplements. He will draw from his experience as a physician and as a presenter on this topic at many physician conferences throughout the United States each year.

“Every time we host a mini seminar, we ask for feedback to determine what topics people would like to see us cover in the future, and the topic of vitamins and supplements has been requested frequently,” explained Tiffany Poland, Trinity Hospital Twin City Director of Community Outreach. “This mini seminar will give participants the information they need to make smart choices about vitamins and supplements to optimize their health.”
