Trinity Hospital Twin City is in network with most insurance companies. If you are not sure about your insurance please give us a call at (740) 922-2800, and someone will be able to help you. When you come in for a visit, your co-pay is due at the time of service.

Trinity Hospital Twin City is part of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI). CHI understands that paying for emergency and/or medically necessary medical care can be difficult, particularly for patients who lack health insurance. As part of our ongoing commitment to our patients, CHI works hard to help our patients address their financial responsibilities in a way that is fair and sensitive to their circumstances. We have instituted  programs designed specifically to help those who find themselves in financial distress.

The following patient financial patient assistance services are available. Please feel free to contact our Patient Financial Counselor with any questions you may have regarding these services. For questions or to schedule an appointment with our financial counselor, call (844) 428-7500

Financial Assistance for Patients | Patients not eligible for HCAP may still qualify for an income-based 100% discount through the Trinity Hospital Twin City Financial Assistance Policy.

The Program

The CHI Financial Assistance Policy (available in easy-to-understand wording in English by clicking here and in Spanish by clicking here) applies to uninsured/underinsured patients who come to our facilities for treatment. This policy provides financial relief to patients who qualify based on a comparison of their financial resources and/or income to Federal Poverty Guidelines. The program is designed specifically for non-elective care patients whose household financial resources and/or income are at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. To review the Federal Poverty Guidelines, click here.

To qualify for any assistance, uninsured/underinsured patients will be asked to complete a CHI Financial Assistance Application (available in English by clicking here and in Spanish by clicking here) which includes information relating to household income.

We are committed to working with our patients to establish an appropriate payment plan based on the amount due and the patient's financial status. For the complete version of our Financial Assistance Policy, click here for the English version or click here for the Spanish version.

If you have questions regarding our policy or applications, please contact our Patient Financial Counselor at (844) 428-7500.

Please Note: Hospital services provided by Steuben Radiology Associates, Steel Valley Emergency Physicians, Midwest Pathology, and other independent physician services offered in the specialty clinic are billed separately and are not included in this program. For a more complete list (updated quarterly) of physicians and providers who are covered and not-covered by our financial assistance program, please click HERE to view a list of covered and non covered providers.

Payment Plans | Payment amounts are based on the total balance owed on all accounts. This type of plan can be set up by contacting our internal Collection Specialist at 1-800-800-8128. For a copy of our Billing & Collections Policy, click here for English or click here for the Spanish version.
