About $2,000 Raised at Trinity Hospital Twin City’s Kickball Tournament

DENNISON—Members of the Trinity Hospital Twin City Employee Auxiliary raised about $2,000 at their second annual kickball tournament. The fundraiser was held on Saturday, August 9 at the Midvale Park. Ten co-ed teams and about 110 participants played in the double elimination tournament. Medals were awarded to the players on the first and second place teams.

                The winning team was the New Kicks on the Block, and the team included Jessy Barton, Gary Beebe, Jordan Beebe, Brett Bowe, Laura Carlisle, Tiffany Poland, Nate Robinson, Mike Roden, Shana Sclater, Jenny Utter, Steve Utter, and Katie Warner.

                “We really appreciate all the players and sponsors who made our second kickball tournament possible,” shared Angel Jones, event chairperson. “We were fortunate to have great weather and be able to have fun while raising money for a great cause.”

                All event proceeds will benefit Trinity Hospital Twin City (THTC). The THTC Employee Auxiliary is a committee of hospital employees who volunteer their time outside of normal working hours to help raise funds for the hospital. In the past year, the employee auxiliary has contributed more than $9,000 to assist the hospital with the purchase of medical equipment.
