“Vibrant Living to Host Grand Opening on February 17th

DENNISON—Between 10 am and 6 pm on Wednesday, February 17th, Trinity Hospital Twin City will host a public grand opening celebration and open house for its newest service, Vibrant Living. Located on the third floor of the hospital at 819 N. First Street, Vibrant Living is an outpatient mental health service for seniors who need help coping with the challenges and setbacks that can be part of the aging process, such as depression, decreased sleep, worry, loss of interest, and fatigue.

Guests at the Vibrant Living open house will be able to meet the staff, learn about Vibrant Living’s services, enjoy free appetizers catered by Hog Heaven, receive free depression and anxiety screenings, and sign up to win door prizes. “We look forward to meeting people from the community who are interested in learning more about how our services could help them and those whom they love,” shared Suzanne Stull, RN, Program Director. “Vibrant Living is a place where seniors can discuss their concerns, feelings, and thoughts and learn positive coping techniques. Our clients begin to connect and share with others, get validation about their challenges, enjoy a meal with one another, and improve their daily overall functioning.”

Vibrant Living’s staff includes a board certified psychiatrist who specializes in geriatric mental health; a licensed clinical counselor with more than 25 years of experience; two registered nurses; and a technician who also provides transportation. The program offers outpatient group and individual counseling at the hospital, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 am to 1 pm. Transportation within a 30 mile radius is provided, and lunch is served daily.
