Outdoor enthusiasts will find much to celebrate in Tusc County. Fishermen and boaters have access to one of the more extensive lake systems in the nation, the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District. The District provides fishing and recreational lakes such as Tappan, Atwood, Piedmont, Leesville, and Clendenning Lakes all within a 5 to 15 minute drive from the Twin City area. And for the hunter, there are 38,000 acres of land surrounding the lakes which offer choice hunting opportunities.

Tuscarawas County is home to many scenic golf courses perfect to sharpen your game and relax in Mother Nature. Many courses offer pro shops and have professionals on staff.

The Twin City area offers several biking and hiking trails, including the Panhandle Passage Trail, a multi-use 1.1 mile trail that connects the City of Uhrichsville with the Village of Dennison.

Swim and Play

Cool off during the summer at the Uhrichsville Water Park, a 4.5 acre outdoor facility featuring an 18,000 square foot heated pool with a pair of two-story water slides and a zero-depth entry child play area with a fantastic play unit aimed toward younger children.
